Jason Henkel, President and Lead Developer
Jason has been spending his days helping some of the largest corporations to secure their networks and protect their confidential data, and spending many of his evenings and weekends coaching kids in youth sports and recreation programs. His first priority is as a husband and father of two wonderful children, and it was his children that started his involvement in youth sports many years ago.
Jason has over 13 years of professional experience in the Information Technology and Information Security industry. As a Security Consulting Systems Engineer with Cisco, he has been responsible for helping banks, insurance companies, retailers, manufacturers, universities, and others to secure their networks and protect customer information and other critical data. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Toledo.
Jason is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #5887). He holds two CCIE certifications, in Security and in Routing & Switching, and the CCIE certification is widely considered to be one of the hardest certifications in the world. Jason has been actively involved in youth sports and recreation for many years, serving as a coach in just about every sport, league director, league commissioner, and as a parent. Being a positive influence in the lives of children as a coach, and as a parent, continues to be one of his most rewarding experiences. It is the combination of his experiences with youth sports and his background in technology and security that has led up to the founding of Silver Lining Innovation, and the SLI Notify service.
Craig Matthews, VP Sales
Craig Matthews is a CISSP and has over 20 years sales experience in the information technology and information security industry. His experience includes working for Fortune 500 technology companies like Cisco Systems and start ups like Internet Security Systems (now a division of IBM), CipherTrust and NetIQ. He has also enjoyed entrepreneurial success in several diverse industries including real estate investment, technology consulting and music entertainment. Craig is a devoted husband and father of two aspiring young athletes/little leaguers.
